Meet Népra Team Athlete Marius Fitterer

Birthday: 1992

Where are you from: Karlsruhe, Germany

Sport: CrossFit

When did you start: 2015

Instagram: @crossfitterer

How & why did you start:

After quitting track & field sport, I wanted to do sport as diverse as I can. I studied sport and got to test many different sport arts and that was and still is something I enjoy. I trained CrossFit-like at a fitness studio before officially starting at a box, and there has been no need to look back because CrossFit offers the diversity that works for me. At the box, I immediately signed-up for an unlimited contract and after a year I became a Box Owner.

Your coolest sport memory:

Our first charity event Rowmina was organised to support our box member who had cancer. The absolutely coolest moment was when Romina did the last 100m row and all the people from the box were around her supporting her. That moment showed what sport is capable of and really about - the community, the people.

Your biggest goal:

When I’m 100 years old, I want to break the world record in the 100m run (smiles). The real life goal is to stay healthy and fit and be able to run until your last day.

When you enjoy your life, you don’t need a motto.

  1. I have no idea about technology.
  2. I used to have long hair and I’m missing it.
  3. My left eye has a blind spot.
  4. I got in to police and sport school and I’m so happy I chose sport.
  5. I’m not a fan of winter sports.
  6. I cannot touch my eyes and hate it when other people touch their eyes.
  7. I have played guitar for years.
  8. Medieval metal is my favourite music genre.
  9. I would like to have a beard but I can’t grow one.
  10. I’m afraid of diving and that’s why I go regularly diving.
